Early this year, I attended a Wealth Summit and COL Financial Founder and Chairman Edward K. Lee was one of the speakers. It was a great talk by Mr. Lee and the investment tips that he gave got stuck in my head even after a few months.
Actually he just said that if you have trouble choosing a company to invest in the stock market, just think of two families: Ayala and Sy. He backed up his talk with historical data of some of the companies owned by Ayala and Sy families which showed that if you are investing in the long-term, you cannot go wrong with these two since share prices of companies owned by the Ayala and Sy kept rising through the years.
